Wonderland Photo Studio Basel is the place where the magic happens. The place where you come with an idea and I make sure to turn it into a reality as your photographer.
So when Sumie told me she will be visiting Switzerland for the first time from Japan and wants to have some beautiful new portraits, I got very excited to welcome here in my studio. The story behind these photos is a very special one and I want to share it with you!
Every ten years, since turning 20 years old, she had a commemorative photo session to celebrate her birthday, as well as that stage of her life. At 20 years old it happened in Seattle, at 30 in Vancouver, at 40 in Tokyo and at 50 in Basel, Switzerland with me!
I’m truly happy to be a part of such a special project and it’s an honor to have my photos included. I feel like it’s more than creating an image. As a photographer I create a memory that will be cherished and remembered for so long that it gives me chills just to think about it.
